Online booking calendar
Online appointment booking software, built into your own website
Your clients pick a service and a time slot, get a confirmation and a reminder by email, and can find their appointments in their account. It all lives on your site, with no third-party tool to connect.
Who it's for
Who this booking calendar is for
For anyone who sells their time by appointment and wants bookings to happen on their own website, not somewhere else.
Coaches and therapists
You see clients one to one, in person or by video call: they book the slot that suits them, with no back-and-forth to settle on a time.
Practitioners and professionals
Osteopath, nutritionist, lawyer or accountant: you set the length of each service and your available hours, and the calendar works out the rest.
Consultants and trainers
You work with clients in France and abroad: time zones are handled, so everyone sees the slot in their own local time.
Tradespeople and home services
You travel to your clients: each request comes in with a chosen time slot, and you track it, status included, from your dashboard.
What you get
What the calendar does for you
The Bookings module is built into your site's editor. Everything below is included, with nothing to install and no outside software to connect.
Services and durations
Create each service with its name, duration and description. The calendar works out the possible slots from those durations and your availability.
Availability and time slots
Set your available hours and your time off. Your clients only ever see slots that are genuinely free, never one that's already taken.
Time zones handled
A client abroad books in their local time; you see the appointment in yours. No conversions to work out on either side.
Email confirmations and reminders
Every booking triggers a confirmation email, then a reminder before the appointment. They go out in your name, and you can adapt the wording.
Statuses and tracking
Pending, confirmed, completed, cancelled, no-show: every appointment carries a status you keep up to date, so your calendar stays readable at a glance.
Client accounts included
Your clients find their upcoming appointments and their history in their account on your site. The same account covers their orders or event sign-ups too.
How it works
How to set up online booking
Four steps, in the same editor as the rest of your site. Nothing to install, no account to open elsewhere.
- 1
Switch on the Bookings module
From your site, turn on the module: the booking and appointment-tracking pages are created in your site's colours, ready for you to adjust.
- 2
Describe your services
Name, duration, description: fill in each service your clients will be able to book, from a discovery call to a follow-up session.
- 3
Set your availability
Enter your available hours, your time off and your time zone. The calendar works out which slots to offer from there, with nothing for you to recalculate.
- 4
Publish and take bookings
Place the booking block on the page of your choice and publish in one click. Requests land in your dashboard with their status.
Real templates to start from
Open a template to see its actual rendering on desktop and mobile, then make it your own in the editor.

Going further
Online appointment booking software: what to know before you choose
Online appointment booking software lets your clients reserve a time slot themselves, at any hour, without a phone call or a string of messages. It rests on three things: a list of services with their durations, the availability you declare, and the slots that follow from both. Around that core sit confirmations, reminders and status tracking. Many independent professionals use a separate tool for this, linked to their site by a button or an embedded widget. It works, but the client is taken off your site, your visual identity is lost, and another subscription joins the pile. With hej, appointment booking is a module of the website itself.
In practice, you create your services, then your available hours and your time off. The module shows visitors only the slots that are genuinely free, in their own time zone. When a client books, they receive a confirmation email, then a reminder before the date. On your side, the appointment appears in your dashboard with its status: pending, confirmed, completed, cancelled or no-show. Your clients have an account on your site where they can find their appointments, and the same account serves for their orders or event sign-ups if you switch on other modules. The booking pages take on your site's palette and identity.
Some features are not available yet, and we would rather say so. Syncing with Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud or CalDAV is in preparation: today, your hej calendar lives in your dashboard. Adding an appointment to a calendar straight from the email the client receives, managing the opening hours shown on your site (separate from your booking availability), and recurring subscriptions or packages are also coming soon, with no date announced. hej is a French platform, designed, built and supported in France: the company is identifiable, support answers in French and English, and human help is available on request to set up your services or move your existing calendar across.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about online appointment booking
01Do I need a third-party tool to offer online booking on my site?
No. The Bookings module is part of hej: you switch it on from your site, describe your services and place the booking block on any page you like. There is no account to open elsewhere, no widget to embed and no software to link up.
02Do my clients get a confirmation and a reminder?
Yes. Every booking triggers a confirmation email, then a reminder by email before the appointment. These messages go out in your name, and you can adapt the wording to the way you work.
03How are time zones handled?
You set your time zone in the settings. A client booking from another country sees the slots converted to their local time, and you see the appointment in yours. Handy for consultants and trainers who work with clients at a distance.
04Can I sync my calendar with Google Calendar or Outlook?
Not yet. Syncing with Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud and CalDAV is in preparation, as is adding an appointment to a calendar straight from the email the client receives. For now, your appointments live in your hej dashboard. We don't give dates.
05Can I sell session packages or subscriptions?
Not yet. Recurring subscriptions and session packages are coming soon. Today, the module handles one-off appointments: a service, a slot, a confirmation. These features will ship when they are ready, with no date announced.
